How to Get Your Ex Back

Losing someone is a horrible feeling, and this is especially true if you felt as though this person was the perfect match for you. Well then you should know that most break ups that occur don’t actually stay that way if you treat them properly. There are certain things that you can do and not do that will make the odds of your relationship getting back to what it was before all of the trouble started. Here are some things that you can do to help your relationship to be mended.

Play it cool

Some people will freak out when their boyfriend or girlfriend breaks up with them. This isĀ  something that you should definitely try to stop yourself from doing because it can truly cause the relationship to go even worse and there will be glad that they broke it off with you. You don’t want that to happen now do you? You want them to think of you in a good way, you don’t want them to be glad that they ended it. So sit back and relax and let the time pass, this will get them to re-thing things and possibly be knocking at your door.

Don’t tell them that you have changed

When someone pleads for their ex to come back to them because they have changed and they are different it rarely works, this is especially true when only a week has passed. These things will only push them away from you and it will not give your relationship a chance to be thought of as something that they miss. You want them to miss you, not be glad that you are no longer in their lives.

Here are some things that you should do:

Improve yourself. Improve your appearance, your job, your education. If they told you something that they didn’t like about you then try to make it better.

Socialize with friends. Get out with your friends and have a good time. You may meet someone that you like better, but even if you don’t at least you will not be sitting around feeling sorry for yourself. A person sitting at home and feeling sorry for themselves is not attractive, so get out and enjoy yourself.

Re-think the relationship. You will need to ask yourself if you really want them back or is it maybe just the fact that they don’t want you back. You know the saying “you always want what you cannot have”? Well,that applies to a lot of people. Did you think about getting out of the relationship before and now you want it back? Possibly it is just because you want what you cannot have. If you take the time to re-think everything about the relationship then you are not only allowing yourself to get better at knowing what is best for yourself, but you are allowing yourself to think about the good times as well as the bad times so that you can know what you really want out of it.
